Imogen started ceramics four years ago shortly after moving to east London and working as a graphic designer. She was drawn to hand-building because every piece is so unique and there is virtually no waste (and throwing was never quite the relaxing experience she was after). Growing up in Germany, she always loved the West German pottery of the fifties and sixties and tried to combine their colour palettes and drippy, fluid glazing with her more organic hand-built shapes. Imogen's work is earthy, organic, eco-conscious.
