Meet the Artist

The pieces Sophie produces have a fluidity, as though they are moving, and constantly developing, just as we are as people. She draws the inspiration from her Greek heritage. In a series called the Amphora Era collection, she plays with layers that represent different eras. They are a blend of the ancient meeting the the futuristic. As the layers build up they depict who we are and what we become. Each layer doesn't always overlap well, sometimes it's wonky and cracked, just how history is. Sophie's work is contemporary, colourful and depicts growth.
